Job Description

HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Technician to support our division specialized in industrial mechanics.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Participate in the full recruitment cycle for specialized positions in:
    • industrial mechanics;
    • electromechanics;
    • welding;
    • material handling.
  • Proactively source candidates and conduct direct recruitment (“headhunting”);
  • Develop recruitment strategies tailored to operational needs;
  • Post job openings and conduct outreach through various platforms and social media;
  • Perform phone screenings and coordinate interviews;
  • Maintain an active and up-to-date candidate database.

Onboarding and Administrative Management

  • Prepare hiring documents (contracts, forms, and administrative documents);
  • Coordinate the onboarding and integration process for new employees;
  • Collect and validate required employee documentation;
  • Maintain and update employee and client files;
  • Verify compliance of required training and certifications before site access.

Training Management and Site Compliance

  • Verify employee training records through the Cognibox platform;
  • Register employees and purchase required training courses.

Administrative Support and Internal Collaboration

  • Assist the payroll team in validating timesheets;
  • Verify schedules, travel allowances, and daily per diems when required;
  • Collaborate with project managers to better understand operational needs;
  • Represent the company at recruitment activities and employment-related events;
  • Perform all other related duties.

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • Education in Human Resources Management, Administration, or any relevant combination of education and experience;
  • Experience in recruitment or staffing agencies (strong asset);
  • Experience recruiting industrial or skilled trades positions (asset);
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure;
  • Autonomy, initiative, professionalism, and resourcefulness;
  • Good knowledge of computer tools: Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Experience in headhunting and the use of recruitment technology tools (asset);
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French;
  • Knowledge of English (asset).
